Alex Wetherington was born in Kinston, North Carolina. He received his Bachelors of Arts in History with a minor in Spanish from Appalachian State University in December of 2018. His field of study is Southern Antebellum Politics with a concentration on North Carolina.
After earning his Masters, Alex wishes to continue his education by pursing a PhD with hopes of being a Professor at a University.
