My name is Dakota Wilson, and I am a second-year museum studies graduate student at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. I received my bachelor's degree in history in my hometown of Mobile, Alabama, at the University of South Alabama. During my educational career, I have worked alongside four museums as an intern or volunteer: the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, the History Museum of Mobile, the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum, and the Frazier Kentucky History Museum. Currently, I am working with Dr. Judkin Browning to help design and create a digital humanities website for North Carolina Civil War Soldiers.
